The Digits and Signs Summer Tech Camp program is specially designed to provide valuable computer appreciation skills, mathematics knowledge, and IT skills to Deaf children. The aim of this program is to empower Deaf children by encouraging their interest in technology, improving their educational experience, and promoting digital inclusivity.
The summer camp aims to accomplish the following goals:
- To introduce Deaf children to the fundamentals of computer appreciation, mathematics, and information technology skills.
- To improve participants’ knowledge and skills in using computers and technology.
- To foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity through interactive activities and projects.
- To instill in Deaf children a sense of belonging, community, and empowerment.
- To provide a safe and welcoming environment in which deaf children can freely express themselves.
